Perform Better | Have More Energy | Eat Delicious Food
Read the latest review from Emma Wolff, mother of a GB cyclist and keen footballer. Emma bought the book in Jan '23:
" Best Home Cookery Book!
I am really enjoying using this book and just wish I’d had it before.
I’m always looking for healthy, wholesome recipes to feed my active children and this ticks the box.
My daughter is a GB cyclist spending hours training each week and my son a footballer and they have both been loving these recipes.
A MUST buy for the active family. Thank you."

Where are our 'Go Faster Kids' now?
See below for an example of the amazing things some of the young people who have used Go Faster Food for your Active Family have achieved....

1
Jazmin Sawyers - 2 x time Olympian and Commonwealth Bronze Medalist 2022 - LONG JUMP
At the 2020 Summer Olympics, held in Tokyo in 2021, Jaz finished 8th in the final. At the 2022 European Athletics Championships she was in 4th position after 5 attempts.
Jazmin says:
"I tend to keep my carbs to the early part of
the day, and have a lighter evening meal
focussed around protein and vegetables, as
I don’t need the extra energy at night while
I’m sleeping!
I actually eat lots of healthy fats: avocados,
nuts, high quality oils and meat: it keeps me
fuller for longer. It’s easy to overdo the fat
when you eat processed foods, but harder
when you’re cooking everything from
scratch."

2
Andy Christie - Saracens Young Player of the Year 2022 - RUGBY
Andy's mum Vicqui bought Go Faster Food for your Active Family when Andy was just 13.
"I love this book," she says, "I have three boys and often find them arguing over which recipe to try next
and even better, which one of them is going to make it.
The boys
have started to behave better and started to
put all their excess energy into sport and are really excelling. I’ve noticed that they really
enjoy the food and savour the taste too and I’m so proud of the change in them.
My son's rugby academy also pushes the healthy message and I know when I cook from
the Go Faster Food book I am providing the whole family with a meal that fits the
bill."

Rob Poth - Team GB Alpine Ski Racer - National World Cup Slalom Champion 2021 and 2022
Gillian Poth. Rob's mum says:
"When you’ve got sons with big ambitions it means the parents have to step up to the plate as well. I want to be as supportive as I can, so we all choose to eat healthily and
generally enjoy our meals as a family.
The nutrition advice in the book is very easy to understand and when my sons are training I can see
exactly what nutrients I’m giving them and how I can refuel and help their bodies recover post
workout."
Kate Percy's book
sits pride of place in my kitchen and I cook at least two recipes from the book on a weekly basis.

Crammed with nutrient-rich, unrefined carbohydrate as well as protein, good fats and an impressive spectrum of minerals, these very delicious energy bars will gradually release their sugars into the bloodstream to provide a consistent level of energy. They’ll keep for days in an airtight container, or wrap in foil for when you're out and about. For an even greater nutrient boost, add the optional chia - It's packed with the good stuff!
